So what's the Problem with using VoIP Phones?

The only constraint is that you must have a high speed internet connection. If you do not have a high speed internet connection then you might face distortion and interruption in your calls. VoIP calls are all about high speed internet connections.

You must also have a good computer, if the computer is not good enough to handle calls. It must have a good memory and processing speed. If your computer is not powerful enough then the calls that are incoming might not be handled properly.
